I wrote The Myth of the American Dream: Reflections on Affluence, Autonomy, Safety, and Power in the throes of Donald Trump’s 2016 election. This book was released in May of 2020, in the very beginning of the COVID pandemic.

Now seven years later, I wrote a zine reflecting on how much I have changed since the years in which I wrote this book—including being diagnosed autistic and leaning I have ethical OCD, or moral scrupulosity. Also, I am no longer a Christian! But if you are and you care about saving the future of our planet and the human race I very much think we are on the same team.

Included is an insert that invites the reader to mark up their copy of MOTAD and interact with it almost as a living art project/conversation with your past self who maybe has changed a whole heck of a lot in the past few years.

This is my first zine I have ever made and I am so proud of it :) I hope it inspires you to make your own!
